QR code generator
Create a QR code from text, a URL, WiFi details or your own UPI-style text. Choose colours, size and error correction, then download PNG or SVG.
Scan the downloaded code before sharing. UPI-style text is encoded exactly as entered: this tool does not verify payment addresses, initiate payments or certify compliance. WiFi codes reveal their credentials to anyone who can scan them.
How to use this tool
- Choose text, URL, WiFi or UPI-style text and fill in the content.
- Choose dark modules, a light background, size and error correction.
- Generate, scan-test the preview, and download SVG for scaling or PNG for everyday sharing.
Frequently asked questions
What do error-correction levels mean?
L, M, Q and H add progressively more redundancy. Higher levels create denser codes and leave less room for text. Keep the four-module blank margin and test at the final printed size.
Does a URL or UPI code open automatically?
No. This site only encodes your input. The receiving scanner decides what to do; verify the destination and payment details independently.
Are colours and Unicode supported?
UTF-8 text is encoded with an ECI marker for non-ASCII input. Use a compatible scanner. Dark-on-light colours require at least 4.5:1 contrast here, but contrast alone does not guarantee scanning.
